8 yr old cream tabby pedigreed Maine coon boy

Toasty is an 8 yr old, pedigreed cream tabby Maine coon boy. He is friendly, and sociable, and would prefer to sleep on your lap. However, he is a scared and shy cat. He may take a while to warm up. He needs a home with lots of patience and a quiet environment. When he does feel comfortable he will be playful, friendly, and a lap cat. He needs someone who can give him a few weeks of hiding to let him grow comfortable. He loves catnip and playing with springs. He is obsessed with licking plastic and he loves to hide in cabinets. If he is ever missing, he is probably having a great nap in your cabinet. He is very good with dogs, is very tolerant and patient with my 11-month-old baby (just take regular precautions), and is best friends with his one cat sibling who is only 2 years old and a lot smaller than him. He could be good with cat siblings that are smaller than him, so he can feel like the boss. They have to be younger or he will take advantage of them. You will need to take a slow introduction process to introduce him to others. He is submissive to humans, and has always been a scaredy-cat but likes to be the boss of the cats. If he does not work out with whatever home he is placed in, there is the option for me to take him back until he finds another home.
