5-yr Old Dilute Calico Maine Coon Mix Sweetheart

CALLIE is an adorable girl with big green eyes and very soft hair that she carefully cares for. She is highly social and quickly attaches to her human for attention and love.

CALLIE patiently waits for me, the foster, to greet and pet her when I enter the foster space. She is always poised on the end of the bar and stretches toward me to get my attention. She rubs against my face and immediately starts purring. She craves the attention she got in her former home where she was much loved. CALLIE does well with other cats, small dogs (maybe big ones too but that has not been tested), and children. Play comes easily as there are many balls and other paws with which to play. Her litter box habits are immaculate, and she has a healthy appetite. Right now she is eating Purina ProPlan Complete Essentials which she likes; she would also benefit from a high quality wet food.

CALLIE came to MCR with her sibling, Colby. They were reported to be bonded. After spending these several weeks with them, I determined that they are not bonded in the true sense. In fact, I would be hard pressed to get a picture of the two of them together. While in their previous homes, they had only each other and it was natural and normal to spend a lot of time together. Once in an area with other cats, they expanded their group of friends. Maine Coon Rescue would love to see them adopted together but it is not a requirement. There is a $25 discount for adopting two. I

Adoption Fee: $200 includes spay, combo test (neg/neg), rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, dewormed and flea preventative. She also comes with a microchip registered to Maine Coon Rescue with the option for the adopter to add their name and contact information.

Available for Adoption: NOW! There is no charge for transport within a 250-mile radius of St. Albans, WV if the adopter is willing to meet at least halfway; Otherwise, there is an $85 transport fee.
