Bandit is a 2 yr old gray tabby and white Maine coon mix boy. Bandit is a lovely Maine Coon mix. He's had several types of nicknames one nickname being King because he has a very royal attitude to his personality. Bandit is an active cat that loves to play. Playing with the wand and getting him romping throughout the house is one of his favorite things to do and one of his needs. If he doesn't get played with then he will tell you he is unhappy.  Behaviors may include using your feet to pounce and play to communicate with you that he wants to play or swiping your feet to say "Hey! Play with Me!, Bandit is a very confident, affectionate, friendly, and outgoing cat. He loves being petted, even by strangers. But he communicates with you to let you know when he's had enough petting. He is more sensitive to pets if you pet him in the same place for too long. Trying to understand him and his needs is important. If he wants to go into a closet, for example, he will paw the closet door to ask to go into it and he will do the same thing if he wants back out of the closet. Bandit tries to communicate with you for what he wants. He does love being spoiled, kissed, doted on, and loved. He gets so happy he will suckle on a blanket and kneed the blanket (also called making biscuits on the blanket). He even loves the attention of strangers and will brush up against their legs and accept pets happily. , Bandit is not a big or small dog-friendly cat which is the main reason I know this is not his forever home as we are a primarily dog household.

He will wear his harness and leash even though he thinks he is too good for such restrictions. He will lay on the grass for a while to sulk but will get over himself and walk around and explore. He loves feeling the breeze on his long fur and watching everything outside. This has been a very enriching activity for Bandit. He would love a catio or screened-in porch area if a new home has one but this is not required.  I could see someone that loves hiking bringing him along a cat backpack or with his leash and harness. What is funny is that I have found Bandit will not go outside to poop or pee. He only goes in the litter box. He has known the inside to be his only home.

Bandit will be OK with maybe 1 or 2 other cats, but no dogs or children.
