THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME. Sassy is a 5 year old purebred Maine Coon. She came into foster care with MCR as her owner has been ill for a long periods of time. Due to this fact, Sassy has spent much of her life alone without her owner. Her face may appear grumpy, but don't let that deter you, she is a big ball of love! This large but gentle giant of a girl is sweet, friendly and very affectionate. She is very verbal with meows, chirps and trills and an occasional cute little snort! Sassy does not wish to be picked up and held, but will seek out your companionship. She will follow you around the house and enjoys being close by if you are working from home or just relaxing. If she wants your attention, she will reach out with her giant, fuzzy Sasquatch paws and grab gently at you. She is quite curious and likes to explore the house. She prefers wand toys and interacting with someone during play. Her favorite wand toy is her weasel stick! Sassy does enjoy the company of her foster family kitties who are laid back and calm.
She previously lived with other cats, a gentle dog and parrot! She has not been around young children and loud noises or sudden movements are threatening to her. Princess Sassy loves her treats and Fancy Feast pate/flavors. Sassy is tidy girl with good litter box habits. A quiet environment where her potential owner would be home a lot would be ideal for this lovely girl. Since she was alone for so long and has undergone so much change, she may be quite timid for awhile. Sassy will require someone to be patient and supportive as she adjusts to a new home.
