THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME.

BIO: Herbie Hancock came to us from a high kill shelter with his siblings. They were in a dire situation and needed pulled ASAP! If you are interested in taking more than one, please let us know. Kittens do better in pairs, and all of these siblings are pretty bonded. They all play and sleep together. I had to separate him for a while, and he was very lonely and cried at first. But if you have another pet or have lots of time then taking one is okay. We did a fundraiser for these kittens and let people choose their names. They don't really know them and will come to anything you want to name them! However, I do still call Herbie by his old name "Kiwi" because it's cute and fits him. He comes to it, too! I call him various other names related to Kiwi like Kiki, also because it's a cutesy way of saying kitty kitty and he seems to like it! Herbie really is one of my most favorite from this litter. He had a very bad eye ulcer and almost lost his eye. I worked around the clock to provide 3 different eye medications to try and heal the ulcer. I swear I think love had something to do with it because the vet and I both have never seen such an amazing healing. She was truly shocked and amazed at how well it has healed up. He has a tiny bit of cloudiness that can barely be seen. He has full sight in that eye, and you can't even tell he even had any issues. He should not have any other problems with it. It was related to all of the kittens having upper respiratory infections when they were younger, which almost always affects their eyes. His got bad quickly, but I am so thankful we were able to save his eye! One-eyed cats are cute, but I really wanted him to have both :) The vet said the little bit of scarring should shrink with time. It may go away completely, or it may not. He has a clean bill of health and is ready for your love! Herbie loves people and is really friendly, but sometimes he will hide from me because he doesn't want any more meds in his eye. I can't say I blame him there. Luckily, he doesn't have to have any more. He loves to play and gets along well with other cats. He is a snuggler, as you can see from the photo with my daughter. I wanted to also include his kitten pics so you can see what he looked like when he was little versus now. The ones on the cat tree are recent. He just has such a great disposition and purrrsonality!! He is curious and funny. He loves to know what's going on but doesn't barge his way in to be the center of attention like one of his brothers haha! He is calm and regal. Herbie holds his ears very erect, forward facing and perfect. He has long ear hair that is so funny, almost like little wigs in his ears! He cares about his appearance, as he should, being the little prince that he is! His siblings are the court jesters and don't care if they look perfect! He is okay with that because he knows who will be king someday. He has the heart of a lion. He proved his strong spirit while dealing with a very hard thing to go through with his eye. I would like to see him go to a home with another cat or kitten since he is used to being with several siblings. Is handsome Herbie Hancock the prince for you?
