THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME.
BIO: This is Orion, whom we call Ryan usually. This cat is one crazy, snugly, cool cat! Look how he sits! He does this a lot! He is so wonderfully wonderful and I hate to give him up. I can't keep every foster or I can't help others! Because I have so many fosters Ryan lives in my teenager's room. She moved out and now he is all alone. He would have went with her but her sister has a dog who likes to chase cats. You see, this is why he came to me in the first place. He was living with some dogs. While most were cool, two of them chased him relentlessly!! Therefore he stayed hidden in their bedroom constantly. It wasn't fair to Ryan at all! He would do best in a home with no dogs or maybe old dogs who you know for sure does not chase cats. This is very important to know before adopting. We don't want him given up because you didn't think your dog would chase and then they do. It's not fair to Orion!
This cat would do very well in a home with kids, teens, adults or up in age folks. Just as long as you let him sleep on the bed with you. He really loves that. He deserves to live out his days being cuddled as he really loves attention! He has a very sweet and gentle temperment. He plays with my cats under the door so I think he would get along with other cats as long as a slow introduction process is followed. We have a great introduction article we send to approved adopters.
Orion just got a fresh dental cleaning and had to have two extractions. The vet noticed he had some gingivitis on his gums so I took him for a good dental cleaning. It's a good thing I did because they found two teeth that needed to come out! Poor guy was in pain and I didn't know! He will be good to go now for years to come. I so wish they could tell us what they need!
Orion isn't picky about his food or litter, although a better quality food will make his coat stay gorgeous. He likes to be brushed even though his type of coat doesn't tend to mat much. He has perfect litter box habits. He is such a gentleman! He does great in the car and in a crate. He drools a little when he is super happy and purring. He even does high 5s with you! That's right! My daughter taught him this trick and he will do it with almost anyone, when he's in the mood of course. This cat is an all around MVP. I can't find any reason anyone would get rid of him except that they have dogs and they chase! Poor kitty! Doesn't he deserve his place in the sun? Oh yeah, he loves his cat tree in the window if you can provide one for him. But it's not completely necessary as he sleeps under the bed too. Is Orion in the stars for you?
I would like to keep this adoption within about 200 miles of my location. If I deliver the cat, there is a transport fee of $85. If you can meet at least half way there is no extra charge. Thank you for understanding!
