THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME. When thinking of names I tried to come up with famous siblings. Once I saw how these four acted like they ruled this house from day one I immediately thought “royalty”. Then when they started expecting “turn down service” at nap time – I came up with Louis, George, Kate, and Pippa. The next several sentences will describe all four of The Royal Siblings because they are similar in so many ways. The next paragraph will be about the individual kitten - Kate. They all are extremely friendly and social. They eagerly run to meet anyone and everyone (including my 10-year-old granddaughter). It is like having a little pack of puppies following you everywhere! They are energetic, playful, curious, and always affectionate. They all love to cuddle right before they fall asleep. After a morning of playing I call them over to their large (dog) bed that has an extra fluffy blanket – they all four come running and purring loudly for chin scratches and belly rubs. Two of them knead and suck the blanket (Kate and Louis) while the other two give headbutts and see who can get the closest to the human (George and Pippa)! (We also repeat this at bedtime.) The boys are quickly outgrowing the girls. It has been fun to watch how quickly these boys’ paws grew – it seems like they doubled in size overnight. At 4 months old both Louis and George are approximately 6 lbs already. I have been amazed by these four happy kittens and their sweet-tempered personalities. They are intelligent, outgoing, and easily approachable. Not once have any of them ever hidden from anyone or anything. They come running when they hear water being run in the sink, and they will barely move out of the way of the vacuum. As fearless, playful, and independent as they all are it is their gentle, sweet-tempered demeanor that steals your heart. (picture #6 Kate is in front and Pippa in back - pic #8 with all four Kate is in the front - pic #9 Kate on the right and Louis on the left) Kate is the more refined Royal Sibling, at least most of the time… A lot of times Kate appears to be practicing for her future role as Queen as she sits poised with her tail wrapped tightly around her and a coy head tilt. Then there are the times she is upside down drinking water in the sink, or roughhousing with her siblings. Daily, Kate makes sure she gets some “alone” lap time with her human and purrs loudly while having her chin scratched. But it is probably nap/bedtime that reminds us Kate isn’t as mature as she wants us to believe as she kneads and sucks her fuzzy blanket right before falling asleep. Kate is available for adoption within 250 miles of Charleston, WV.
If the adopter does not meet the foster at least halfway, an $85.00 transport fee will be applied.
