Mandy’s nickname is Little Chrissy.

Mandy is what we in the cat-rescue biz call "A Total Package." Looks, brains, personality... she has 'em all-- in spades! She may be little, but she packs a ton of charm. We absolutely adore Mandy, her precocious personality, and her endless cuddles.

Mandy has a silky-soft coat with gorgeous, delicate markings, including dainty little socks. Like her sister, she is quite small. However, what we first noticed about Mandy was her unusually expressive eyes! Honestly, when she looks at you, she may as well be talking to you-- and boy-howdy, she has her own ideas about everything!

Mandy has lots of energy and endless curiosity; she is first on the scene when a bird visits the feeder, or a bag of treats is opened. And if things are slow, Mandy will bring her toys to you and start a game of fetch! I must confess that, while she is an athletic, graceful cat most of the time, she is the sloppiest jumper I have ever seen. She is so totally focused on whatever she is hunting that she doesn't care how she gets it, or how she lands afterward. She totally loses her cool when it comes to jumping and it is hilarious.

Okay, Mandy is a busy cat-- toys to chase and places to scramble-- but nothing stops her in her tracks like a good cheek-scratching. She leans into it until she flops on the floor. She has become a full-fledged lap cat, often squeaking plaintive meows until she can come aboard.

This little cat adores attention and has recently realized that she can meet you at eye level if she sits on a shelf next to the stairs. Now, when she hears anyone set foot on the staircase, she races to her spot, lets out her biggest meow right in your face, and there is simply no possible way you can pass without petting her!

Mandy has grown into a wonderful little companion with loads of love to give. She is the kind of cat that runs to the door when she hears your footsteps on the porch. She is the kind of cat that cuddles up under the blankets with you at night. She is the ultimate family cat: a perfect balance of silly and sweet that is destined to create lots of laughter and memories.

Mandy and Mindy MUST be adopted together.

History:

Mandy and Mindy were surrendered to a high-kill shelter in Kentucky with their mom, sister, and brother. Before their transfer to Baltimore, the family contracted ringworm and had to endure weeks of awful medical treatments and isolation when they arrived here.

Mandy& Mindy have watched their mom, brother, and sister get adopted. They would love a home of their own. While their mom was a Maine Coon Mix, they did not get the long hair. Mandy is short hair, while Mindy is more medium hair.

If you would like to meet the cats before adoption, we are happy to host a meet-and-greet, however, you must submit an Adoption Application through our website and be approved.

Adoption fees are per cat. If you adopt 2, there is a $25.00 discount.

Mandy’s adoption fee is $150.00 & Mindy’s adoption fee is $150.00. There is a $25.00 discount for adopting 2.
