Aoife is a declawed, 4 yr old brown tabby Maine coon mix girl.    She is very calm but can be playful on occasion. She is very smart. We have trained her to come when we use a clicker. She prefers calm, quiet environments. She will follow you but does not like to be picked up or held on your lap. She prefers to sit next to you.

Ideally, Aoife would do well in a house without kids or other pets.  She does get along with our dog, so she might be okay in a home with a dog. She is very stressed out by our other cat. She does okay with children but prefers calm, quiet, predictable situations. 


She is currently taking Gabapentin (100 mg) per day. She was prescribed this
medication by our vet due to distress of being at our home. She has a
sensitive nervous system and our busy household combined with another
cat and dog stress her out. The medication calms her and is being
prescribed until she has another calmer living environment.
