He has a naturally cropped tail, meaning he was born that way. It's about an inch long and has long hair. It makes him so cute!! He has the most beautiful markings in his coat. Merlin is very affectionate and loves to be held. He purrs the entire time! He is playful and funny and will make a toy from pretty much anything. He has a serious face and his copper eyes make me think he is an old soul. He is friendly with other cats and is really laid back. Every time I go into the cat room, he jumps up to greet me with his little meows. He likes to be in the middle of whatever it is you're working on too. He thinks work is overrated, and it's better to just sit and relax so he can be in your lap! He's a growing boy so I do feel he will be a larger cat after he is a couple years old. I've read that bobtail cats are especially sweet natured for some reason. Don't let his not having a tail deter you. He is perfectly healthy and happy!
