Megacoon Aslan is a registered pedigreed 5 yr. old red silver w/ white pedigreed Maine coon boy who weighs 22 lb. He is sweet and gentle. Aslan is a mixed bag of aloofness and lovingness. Sometimes he's a "don't touch me" cat and sometimes he can't get enough petting. He doesn't particularly like being brushed but he likes the treats he gets for tolerating it. He's gentle and beautiful, and sweet, and although he doesn't like to be held he does like to be companionable. When I'm working at my desk he like to sit beside me on the desk with one paw touching my arm. He's quirky, but he's such a sweetheart. If kept brushed his coat grows out to be very long, soft and luxurious. Since I was planning to be away from home much of the fall this year I knew I wouldn't be home to keep up with brushing him so he was recently shaved during his dental check but it will grow out quickly. Aslan needs a yearly checkup and possible dental care. Has had one tooth removed last because of resorption. Aslan would do better in a home with no other cats. He tends to bully my other Maine Coon and likely would any other cats in the house. He's okay with dogs as long as they don't chase him and maul him. He would likewise be fine with kids as long as they don't chase him and maul him. Occasionally he has been urinating outside of the litterbox because of his dominance. Currently he lives with a dog, another cat and one litter box.
