Hawkeye is a 7 yr old, declawed brown tabby Maine coon mix boy.  He is a sweet, tall boy.   He is vocal and and does not mind being carried (lumped) or scratched deeply. His coat right now is summer weight and you can expect the full-length coat to start coming in around September. Hawkeye is not a meanspirited cat so when you get the occasional nip on the calf, you know you are in a special place with him. 

Hawkeye was my fathers service cat, declawed up front. He needs a respectful and caring home. 

Kids are fine if mellow.   He had a beagle compaion who he could not stand as the animal was in his space constantally and would not give Hawkeye peace during meals. Hawkeye would simply hop on the counter and heckle the dog from above.  Now that is a cat with a sense of humor!
