Booker is a 4 yr old brown tabby Maine coon mix boy.  Booker is a very engaged, happy cat. He loves to follow you around and see what you are doing. He likes to be around any activity but does not need constant attention.He will crawl into your lap or arms when he needs a good snuggle or loving, which is several times a day.  He loves company is always first to the door when the doorbell rings. When my elderly mother-in-law visits, he sticks by her side whether she is watching TV, showering, doing laundry, or resting. He loves to play and has a favorite stick that he will carry around or chase when you throw it. He will bring it to you (while howling) when he wants to play. I work from home a lot and several times a day he will come to the office for a hug or to just hang out with me. He is not over-needy but he does love his humans., , Booker's signature position is what we call Land Otter. He flops over and rolls on his back with all 4 paws in the air and snoozes. He's a very cute, funny kitty.  We can pick him up at any time and  hold him (cradled like a baby in our arms) and depending on his mood, he will purr and make air biscuits or he will endure it for a minute or two and then tell you he wants down. , , He LOVES to have his head, neck, and chest rubbed. His back is okay and his belly is okay only at certain times and he will warn you if he's not in the mood. I can tell you more if you like. As you can tell, we love the little guy and this is a tough decision for us but we know it is best for him to be an only cat. Booker walks on a leash.

Booker eats from a food ball to keep him engaged and to stop him from overeating. Booker has had gum issues in the past and many of his teeth have been surgically removed. He is able to eat just fine without them and is much more comfortable with a healthy mouth
