THE FOLLOWING CAT IS BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME.

Well, here we go. My foster mom asked me to write about myself because when she wrote about me no one was paying attention. Can you believe that? I'm going to let you in on a little secret. She said I'm mostly not a Maine Coon. The secret is that....you ready for this? I'm a mini panther! Tee hee!! I know!! A couple of my pictures you can tell! I look like a wild panther slinking past your outdoor camera like a thief in the night!

My foster mom said I'm one of the hardest cats to get good pictures of. I don't know why. I sit there looking handsome on a black background. She said all she could see is my eyes, so I guess that doesn't work very well. I tried to tell her it was because I'm a panther and I'm supposed to blend in! She has to take videos of me and then take screenshots from that. So some of my pics aren't all that great. Then one of my sisters likes to kick litter all over the floor and make a mess. So mom has to edit the photos to try and make them look decent. It seems to be a struggle but what do I know? Ya know, panthers don't care about all that fussy stuff.

When I was in this one little girl's room I laid on her bed and cuddled with her. There may be pictures of that time on here. Man that was a good day! I've filled out so much since then. I've noticed my hair has gotten longer and there's more of it too! Maybe those panther genes are finally showing up for me! Back in the older pictures I was thinner, my hair was a mess and I had a little bald patch under my ear. All that has cleared up and I'm a pretty handsome guy if I do say so myself!! I'm a laid-back boy who has a lot of love to give.

Mom's house cat doesn't like other cats so I'm stuck in her craft room with 2 sisters. The messy one also slaps me around a little even though she is smaller than me! I'm too nice I suppose. So how about you break me out of here so I can be a real house cat and show you what I'm made of? I love attention and being petted, although I might take a little while to enjoy being held. Once I know you won't hurt me I will be fine with it though. I'm great with kids and will snuggle with them! I just hope you teach the smaller ones how to be gentle!

I will enjoy a lap to lay on and will make you so relaxed at the end of a long day. I'm not pushy for attention like my sister and I'm very tidy with the litter box too!

I have a more silky texture to my coat, so I need less grooming than those ol' Maine Coons anyway! What do you say? Do you have room in your home for my mini panther self? I promise I'll make you fall in love with me!
