THE FOLLOWING CAT IS BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME.

If you like a paw shaking, hands on good time, Teddie is your guy! He likes to reach out and pull your hand to him for petting. You can see in a couple of the photos how he is on the edge of the bed about to reach out, then in one photo has his paw out to me! He is very adamant that your job in life is to pet him! I mean, isn't it?? That's just how much he enjoys affection. When he first came here, he also liked to show you affection with little love bites. Because he doesn't realize how big he is, this could be a bit painful to someone with thin skin or to young children. He isn't aggressive, just very friendly. He is quirky and funny and he makes me laugh every day! When I first met him, he was just so happy to be safe. I feel that animals know this. He pulled my hand down to pet him more and used his teeth just a little. He hangs out in my 12-year-old daughter's bedroom, so I think older considerate kids would be just fine with him. He sleeps with her and loves to snuggle. He seems to really like the Christmas movies she has been watching lately haha He seems laid back and although I don't know how he is with cats or dogs, I think with proper introductions he would be okay with either. Teddie was found hanging around a nursing home, and we don't know if someone dumped him there for some reason. Maybe he had an owner who ended up there? Maybe family dumped him there in hopes the person could see him from time to time? We just don't know. What we do know is that the staff was getting very annoyed because he was trying to come inside all the time. They even threatened to call a pest control company! We knew he wasn't safe for much longer. Maybe he was just trying to see his person! That thought breaks my heart into a million pieces. Thankfully, he was saved by a rescue there, and we went to pick him up. He is a big boy for sure! Not fat, just big and a ton of hair! I was surprised at how much he weighs! He really likes to eat too, so you may need to monitor his food intake daily to keep him fit and healthy for many years to come. I think he was so hungry out there on his own and is afraid he won't get fed. This poor baby wants all the love you have to give. He needs a new person to make his life complete again. Are you his new person?
