Ashanti and Asher are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Late last year we were contacted by a very kind lady who wanted us to take in three kittens who had been born to a pair of outside strays.  She had seen the mom and dad and thought that the kittens were part Maine Coon.  They became Ashina, Asher, and Ashanti.

This is Ashanti, and I call him Shawnie.  He’s got the longest hair and the fluffiest tail of the group, and he’s also the most timid with people.  He is never the first one to want attention, but he knows his name and when I call him he will come and get the love and petting that he most richly deserves.  He tends to search out the quiet places and eventually Asher will find him and cuddle.

He loves to play, and he’s not shy whatsoever about coming out into the rest of the house and exploring!  He’s always the one I have to go find when I’m ready to get them all back into the foster room.
