Maine Coon Rescue cannot guarantee the parentage or breed of cats on this site. THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME. Pawla was hanging around an apartment complex and a nice lady and her daughter were feeding her. Some local boys would throw rocks at her and try to be mean to her. The nice lady took her in and called me. But they couldn't keep her. Pawla is so sweet! I thought being treated badly would have changed her but it hasn't. Luckily she knew to leave until they were gone. I don't get why people don't teach their children to be kind to animals. Pawla is the most loving girl ever. She is on the smaller side and has super silky, soft hair. She is laid back and precious. She likes to play with the stack toy with balls that roll around inside. She gets along well with other cats and should be just fine with a dog that doesn't chase her. Will yours be the heart she steals? I have to force myself to not get attached to her! She will need to be spayed and has an appointment on September 17th. She will also have all of her shots and be combo tested. If she is healing well she may be able to go home sooner than the October 1st date listed here. We can work that out when the time comes.
