Maine Coon Rescue cannot guarantee the parentage or breed of cats on this site. THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME. Jasper is the sweetest boy and a lazy guy. If you want a not so active cat Jasper is your man. He does get bouts of playfulness at times. When he does he is really cute! He can amuse himself and doesn't need any other cats around. That's a good thing since he needs to be the only cat. He's been tried a couple of times before and it wasn't good. One kitty lost weight because he kept running her away from the food bowl. So when I say he needs to be the only one, I really need you to commit to not having any other cats. He is worth it all on his own! He will be a great companion for anyone who wants a lazy, loving gentleman. He's got a chunky body on short legs. He has a shorter tail than most too, so he just looks like a comical fellow! He is so very soft and needs regular brushing. The odd thing is how much he loves his tummy rubbed! We all know that's a forbidden place on a cat! We are working on his weight and activity levels. When he first got here he laid around and seemed depressed. I felt so sorry for him! But no, he was just lazy!! After a couple of days we noticed he played more and more.
