What can we say about George? The transformation began when he was found by his colony caregiver after having been missing for five days. He arrived broken, bleeding and barely able to walk with obvious head trauma. He was trapped and rushed to the hospital. George was pronounced with a broken mandible, cracked loose canine and neurological brain swelling. His jaw was repaired, ears cleaned and treated from the brain bleed. His left eye was infected and treated with antibiotics, tooth removed, neutered, flea treated, given steroids for the brain swelling.

 

Wow! After four months of rehab for his medical needs and to teach him to love and trust humans he is a transformed cat!.The rescuer is glad to say both have been totally successful!!! Yes,George has a comical crooked face, but his personality is the real comedy. What a funny, character he is - always looking for something fun to do. George loves playing with other cats and also dogs!! He is a lap kitty and a total bed buddy. He is learning to be relaxed with being carried. Last, but certainly not least, George is a professional singer!!! Yes,he has perfected his talents of many songs. He will happily go through his day singing the most unusual songs of curiosity and joy.

 

George is two years old, combo tested neg/neg, neutered,fully vetted including rabies, FVRCP, FeLV vaccination, dewormed and flea treated/preventative.
