Maine Coon Rescue cannot guarantee the parentage or breed of cats on this site. THE FOLLOWING CATS ARE BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME. BIO: This girl's name should be Minx instead of Mini! She is pure delight. Funny and playful, she is full grown but acts like a kitten. She is always busy and curious unless she's sleeping. When she spots you, she is always delighted to see you and be in your company. She has a scratchy "smoker's" meow which she uses to demand some love. Once she's had her fill, she flops down and stares at you with her curious appraising gaze (looking for the next thing to play with). She was a stray, and is still sometimes skittish. She might be ok with older kids but doesn't much like younger ones at all. Mine is 10 and she doesn't like her at all. Hard to say what her history with children may have been. Mini would be fine with dogs. She hisses at new cats but is not aggressive at all. She is so precious and sweet it's unreal. She isn't much of a lap cat and doesn't like to be held, but enjoys affection in her own ways. She wants to be the center of attention at all times and rub against things. In the beginning she will come to you as long as you aren't jumpy or moving around a lot. Give her space and time and she will he more loving as each day goes by.
