Pulled from KCHA on 7/13/16 - surrendered to the shelter because home was lost in flood. He was in boarding at Good Shepherd from 7/3 - 7/18 waiting for foster space to clear
THE FOLLOWING CAT IS BEING CARED FOR IN A LOVING MCR FOSTER HOME. The flood waters rushed in, hung around just long enough to devastate his house and community and rushed back out. When the waters receded Mr. Tuffles found himself without a home. His family lost everything and, regretfully, surrendered Mr. Tuffles and their dog to the local shelter in hopes they would find new loving homes. Mr. Tuffles, aka just “Tuffles”, is a handsome MC mix whose physical characteristics, other than a glorious MC tail, lean more toward the mix that he is. The MC characteristic that he did get in strong measure is that delightful MC personality we MC fans love and cherish. He is energetic and playful but also lovable and attentive to humans as well as other cats. He is a mentor to Eddie, a kitten who needed a man to show him the ways of cats. Tuffles does great with other cats, is totally unfazed by rowdy dogs, and loves people! Tuffles would love to have a home all in his own in time for Christmas.
